Math - Study Guide for the 2nd 9 weeks came home tonight - children are to do the first 12 problems.  They needed to take their Math Books for any help understanding concepts.  We will be reviewing these problems in class tomorrow so please remember to bring back the study guide

Post Writing Assessment - Response to Literature- the children have to finish this by Wednesday!!!!They are working very hard in class - I already have 5 completed - thank you!!!!

Homework - December 6 through 10, 2010

  1. Read and Record - 2 night writes due this week
  2. Math - page 259 #5 through 28 - The lesson today was all on angles and how do measure them by using a protractor.  I reviwed the directions in the book in detail and the children should refer to the pages previous for help.  I will be assigning pages out of the book all week.  Please make sure that your child brings their book to and from school each day!
  3. Spelling - Some children did not finish page 138 - so they need to finish for homework.  Please make sure they are giving me super sentences and not below grade level sentences.R

  2. Math - Rotation - Math Book page 261 numbers 1 through 14.  Please complete on notebook paper
  3. Grammar - page 16 compound predicates - mini lesson on compound predicates today - children should know what a simple predicate is.
